On June 13, Southwest Oil and Gas Field Company successfully completed the operations of Gaoshi 12 Well and Moxi 105 Well using the small-scale gelled acid acidizing process and put them back into production. After the measures, the oil pressure of single wells significantly increased, with a cumulative daily production capacity recovery of 100,000 cubic meters, highlighting the remarkable plugging removal effect. This operation once again verifies the high efficiency and promotion value of this process in treating plugging in perforated and liner completed gas wells, making it a key measure to activate the vitality of gas wells.

Since the beginning of this year, Southwest Oil and Gas Field Company has systematically carried out plugging cause diagnosis and treatment plan optimization. For plugging wells due to formation permeability attenuation and flowback deposition, a small-scale gelled acid acidizing plan has been studied and formulated, strictly following the principle of “small scale and small displacement”, and optimizing the system of “hydrochloric acid + corrosion inhibitor + iron ion stabilizer” to ensure efficient dissolution of plugging materials while ensuring the safety of downhole strings. The construction innovatively applies the combined process of “controlling acid injection displacement + casing nitrogen injection”. Through fine parameter control, it simultaneously improves the acid reaction efficiency and reduces the corrosion risk, achieving the collaborative removal of wellbore and near-wellbore pollution. Verified, the small-scale acidizing process has the characteristics of “precision, economy and high efficiency”, and has become one of the important technical means for plugging removal and efficiency improvement.

In the next step, Southwest Oil and Gas Field Company will continue to summarize and optimize the experience of small-scale acid plugging removal, deepen process research, improve the technical system, and actively promote preventive acidizing measures to fully guarantee the stable and increased production of gas wells.
